Information
The Federal Government Institution «Government Technologies» (FGI «Government Technologies», FGI «GovTech») is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
Goals
Developing and operating the “GovTech” unified digital platform
Support of the processes of creation, transfer, development and operating of government information systems and their components based on the “GovTech” platform
Testing of new approaches in creation and development of GIS on the “GovTech” platform
Organizational and methodological support of the development of architectural solutions including the design of domains’ architecture
Ensuring information security of services at every stage of the GIS life cycle on the “GovTech” platform
Methodological support and training on the “GovTech” platform functioning
Carrying out the function of the Coordination Centre of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Computer Engineering
Background
The FGI «GovTech» was founded on the basis of the Coordination Center of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Computer Engineering founded on December 23, 1969.
By the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of November 16, 2020 No. 3004-r the FGI «GovTech» was founded on the basis of the Coordination Center of the Intergovernmental Commission on Cooperation in the Field of Computer Engineering on January 1, 2021.
The FGI «GovTech» was appointed as an operator of the UDP “GovTech”, the federal GIS “Management of the “GovTech” Unified Digital Platform of the Russian Federation” and the federal GIS “GovMarket” by the order of the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation of December 27, 2022 No. 1012.
